Shafia Rahman

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) at Foresight. I hold a Master’s in Social Work degree from the University of Illinois Chicago and a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Loyola University at Chicago. I am also a Registered Nurse. I have experience working with adults, children, and adolescents from many different cultural backgrounds. I believe in utilizing the strengths based approach. I specialized in individual, family, and group therapy. In the past, I have provided counseling services in a medical inpatient and outpatient setting along with providing community based mental health services. I also have experience with many age populations after working at a university hospital, mental health facility, and as a care coordinator for a managed Medicare company.
