Trina Mauchmar

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker at Foresight Mental Health. I received my Master’s Degree in Social Work from the University of Denver with an emphasis on clinical social work and animal assisted social work. I have experience in a variety of settings in the Denver metro area working with children, adolescents, adults and families. I specialize in mood disorders, addiction, chronic illness, homelessness, stress management and teaching coping skills for managing distress. I am continuously in pursuit of breaking down barriers so everyone can easily access healthcare and I am passionate about reducing stigma associated with mental health. I feel privileged to walk alongside my patients providing support and guidance during some of life’s most challenging times. I use a strengths based perspective and a trauma informed approach and treat each patient with individualized treatment unique to their needs. I view myself as an agent of change who strives to meet patients where they are and help them to meet their goals. I use a variety of evidenced based treatment to promote healing and manage everyday distress.
