Estelle Williams

<p style="margin-bottom:10px">Estelle Williams, MD is a member of Summit Health's Urgent Care team. Dr. Williams has expertise and experience in evaluating and treating a wide range of medical issues seen in an emergency care setting.&nbsp; Dr. Williams was inspired to enter the field of medicine by watching the thoughtful and compassionate medical care her father and mother delivered to their own patients. She says, “I love practicing emergency medicine as it allows me to meet and help new people each and every time I go to work.” She adds, “I particularly enjoy practicing at Summit Health, where delivery and coordination of excellent medical care is the standard, not the exception.”

Dr. Williams has an interest in health care policy and eliminating access barriers to public health, which led her to pursue studies in Population Health at Thomas Jefferson University’s College of Population Health.

Dr. Williams is on the Clinical Governance Board for Summit Health. She previously served as Chair and Medical Director of the Department of Emergency Medicine at St. Mary's Hospital in Passaic and has worked in several other area medical facilities, including Englewood Hospital and Medical Center, Community Medical Center in Toms River, and St. Vincent’s Hospital and Medical Center in New York City.

Dr. Williams sits on the board for the Girl Scouts Heart of New Jersey. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her husband and children.
