Anita Singh

Anita J. Singh, MD, specializes in emergency medicine.<br />

Dr. Singh is the coauthor of articles and abstracts, which are published in prestigious, peer-reviewed scientific journals, including Journal of Psychiatry and Neuroscience, American Journal of Physiology, and Depression and Anxiety. She has delivered local and regional invited presentations in her field. She is a member of the American College of Emergency Physicians.<br />

Dr. Singh says, "Watching my mother help her patients inspired me to become a doctor. I try to see my patients' situations through their eyes. I care for them with the compassion and patience I would want for my family and friends."<br />

Dr. Singh is a recipient of the New York Methodist Hospital Resident of the Year Award, St. George's University School of Medicine Legacy of Excellence Scholarship, and University of Alberta Faculty of Medicine and Dentistry 75th Anniversary Award.<br />

When she is not working with her patients, Dr. Singh enjoys spending time with her family, cooking and baking, and traveling.
