Francis Prior

Francis P. Prior, MD, FACC, has expertise in a wide range of cardiovascular problems, including atrial fibrillation, arrhythmias, Cardiovascular diseasess, coronary artery disease, heart disease prevention, hypertension, and lipid disorders.<br />

In addition to his position with Essex Heart Group (formerly GMP Cardiology) of Summit Health, Dr. Prior is Former Director and Former Attending Physician of Saint Michael's Medical Center Echocardiography Laboratory in Newark, New Jersey. He has practice privately with General Internal Medicine Associates of Montclair, Montclair Cardiology, and Montclair Medical Group. He is a member of the American College of Cardiology.<br />

When he is not working with his patients, Dr. Prior enjoys spending time with his wife and children. In addition to attending his children's baseball games, he enjoys sports and golfing. He is interested Irish history and Irish culture.
