When we moved in, the apartment was not cleaned, the walls were not painted, light bulbs were not replaced. Our sliding door to the balcony took 6 months to get fixed, causing our energy bills to be more than twice as expected, among multiple requests that were not taken care of in a timely manner, months of waiting. There are still maintenance requests that have been open for 11 months. We were without a stove for 2 weeks because it had broken and the office took that long to replace it. We have also made a recent report saying that our heater was making noises and didn’t think that it was working properly. The office informed us that unless it wasn't working at all, that it wouldn't even be looked at. We were told that as long as we lived in the unit, the rent would not be raised. Now they are raising it $300/mo, 16%. This office is not to be trusted and safety is a concern in some of their buildings. And you cannot pay your rent online, just by check, mailed or dropped off.
