One of the only gigs in town with menorahs, seder plates, ketubahs

Aside from over priced things at Firefly- this is truly one of the only places I can find in Seattle with Jewish accessories. I am open to other suggestions but for now this place will have to do. Als...

Best local source for Judaica

Tree of Life is probably the best source of Judaica products in the Seattle area. Located in Ravenna, the store has a little bit of everything, from Tallits and Kippahs to ketubahs and menorahs. The...

Great Store

This store is small, but full of lots of wonderful items. They order anything you need and do it promptly and then call to tell you when it arrives. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Great place to shop!!

Everything Judaica

It seems safe to say Everything Judaica when in addition to the requisite books, menorahs, jewelry, and yarmulkes, a store has in stock cuddly stuffed Torah scrolls, bag-o-plagues for Passover, an...

Your local Judaica shop

Sometimes a bit kitchy and heavy the chachkeys (spelling?) but they've got a nice music section and you can listen to samples of most things before you buy them. They've got a pretty diverse selection...

Goo place if like to learn lot about them

It seems safe to say Everything Judaica when in addition to the requisite books, menorahs, jewelry, and yarmulkes, a store has in stock cuddly stuffed Torah scrolls, bag-o-plagues for Passover, and Shalom license plate holders. But this is not a dis. Tree Of Life caters successfully to a wide range of needs and interests, and also serves as a community resource of information and learning.Tree of Life is probably the best source of Judaica products in the Seattle area. Located in Ravenna, the store has a little bit of everything, from Tallits and Kippahs to ketubahs and menorahs. The back of the store contains a fairly large book section and CD section where you can listen to many of the CDs. Many types of gifts and religious items with seasonal merchandise for the various holidays.

Poor customer serivce!!!

We had visited this business once before and found the associate to be very rude and unhelpful. We went to try to purchase the from this store because we realized that this store was the only one in town. Once again, this associate was there and very unhelpful. She and the owner began to argue over details in the process and are unable to help us with our Jewish names. As we are asking questions, the associate continues to shout back about details that we were unaware of. She finally throws me a figure that I did not expect and began to rattle off prices that were never discussed.

On top of all of this, they have a fan that is right above the cash register and when my fiance continuously asked me to come over to help her decide things, I kept saying that I cannot stand under the fan because it is extremely uncomfortable. We decided that we were powerless because they were the only place in town, so ended up purchasing the ketubah. While the cc is being rung up, this associate asks if the fan is making me uncomfortable. I answered "I've only said it did for the last 1/2 hr." She replies that she is at that age where she doesn?t even notice it and never offers to do anything to help us! We left there feeling like we had just been taken!

We decided to call up and cancel the order because we did not wish to look at our ketubah for the rest of our lives as a time of pain. The associate tells my fiance that she is glad that we are not getting it because we didn?t look like we should be married!!! The owner (who is 60% deaf) was a tad helpful, but the damage has been done.

I only have this warning for you... if you see a blond, older and rounder woman when you walk in this business, WALK OUT and go online. I do not wish bad luck on this business, but wish to inform everyone on this associate and her practices.
