Comfort Food
Hands down the best pasta in MN. Hot soups, homemade noodles and sinful desserts made on site! My favorite cozy winter spot.

Eddie, the new owner of the Italian Cafe, is phenomonal! Last night's seafood pasta with scallops, shrimp, mussels and fresh tomato sauce was incredible! And the sesame chicken pasta with a cream/peanutty sauce was to die for!! Way to go Eddie! I'll definitely be back!!

New Owner
This restaurant has not been reviewed since it changed ownership about a year ago. I don't know what it was like before but the food under the new ownership is outstanding! We sampled the Ceasar salad, the Ciopino, the Sesame Chicken and two desserts. They were all delicious, but I especially LOVED the Sesame Chicken! It was so good that had to restrain myself from licking my plate!

The new restaurant Bella Cucina owned by Eddie is delicious! The Tequila Lime Chicken Pasta is simply irresistable. It is without a doubt the best pasta I have ever had. The hostesses, waitresses, and cooks are all superb. They make sure the customer is satisfied and are willing to comp a customer if something goes wrong. It is an excellent family owned restaurant with a very friendly atmosphere. The Italian Cafe is the best Italian restaurant in the South West Suburbs!

Charles Johnson long time Chef owner moved out due to illness and helped for a bit during transition, but when he left he took the recipes, name and phone number with to continue as a caterer until he had his health under control.
