Best no frills low-price grub in the area...
This is one of the little hidden gems in the Mukilteo/Lynnwood/Everett area. The selection is varied, but the asian food is definitely the star of the menu. This is no frills dining at it's best. The portions are huge and the prices are great. The quality of the food is defnitely above average, but if you are looking for PF Chang style eating, go there instead. Parking can be a bit of a problem, but the area is defnitely safe if you need to walk a couple hundred feet. The staff is very friendly and willing to please. They also serve bottle beer and wine coolers so you can get your drink on too. Not some place I would bring a first date, but defnitely bring your old lady (or man) that you don't need to impress with anything but good food anymore!!!

Waste of a lunch break
Well, I went here today 10/24/08 for lunch. My company only gives us a half hour lunch, and I got there at John's at 11:30. I ordered the Wok Combo with Chicken and Pork. Waited 35 minutes for my food, they messed up and gave my order to someone dining in. My order was to go. Not only did they take the food back from the person they erroneously gave it to, but they RE-BOXED it! So, I waited 35 minutes for a Wok Combo that cost $8.00, but not only did someone else get to sauce up my food with seasonings, they got my order WRONG. What I received was Fatty Under Cooked Pork, but there was no chicken in sight. I was given something that appeared to be nearly ground beef. Yeah, not the most appetizing. Thank god they got the rice right. Someone may think my comments to be a little over ambitious, but this is suppose to be a Fast Food take on Asian cuisine. Not only was it SLOW, INACCURATE, and OVERPRICED. They were just down right not terrible.Worldwide > United States > Mukilteo, WA > Chinese Restaurants
