A Solid and Dependable Choice for a Veterinarian...

Years ago, when I worked in Reynoldsburg, I needed a veterinarian. I had passed Rosehill Veterinary Hospital on several occasions. It was close and I thought I would take a chance.My dog, a Norwegian Elkhound, was seven years old when I first took her in for a regular check up and shots. The office was older, nothing fancy, straight forward, I observed.Mark Place, an affable man in a white lab coat came in and introduced himself. Not a pretentious bone in his body, in fact a rather simple, straight forward farm-type guy, I thought at the time. I always thought his charges were reasonable and affordable, plus he always provided me with alternative options.

I took my beloved Niki to him for 10 more years, even after having moved to Worthington. I knew him, he knew my dog and he knew me. I never had an encounter where he was not spot on with a diagnosis. A Gifted and Gentle Vet

Words seem meaningless when it come to describing Dr. Place's ability to diagnosis and his gentleness in sharing information which at times is difficult to accept. When I first moved to Columbus, we were told to go to OSU Vet Hospital. Well we did that for about 5 years but the staff rotated and we got a life changing misdiagnosis.
I had a friend who swore by Dr. Place so I called. When I met him he sat down and just took time to get to know our family as well as our pets. His ability to diagnosis is unbelievable even prior to further testing. He is a farmer and he is like the neighbor next door. He is direct yet sensitive. We had a 12 year old female lab that was failing quickly and I had been in on December 30 and it was time to help Magge stop her struggle. I had to go home and discuss with my family. We decided that we would get through the weekend and do it right after the new year. I called Dr. Place and he said I will be out of town but if you come right now the staff
