Amazing local gem

I'm embarassed to say this - but I've lived in the neighborhood for almost 29 years and I've only started going into Millard's during the last fews weeks - I can't believe all the great food I've been missing out on! Millard's has wonderful food and be sure to check out the Sunday Brunch.

Worthless Dive

Folks, this bar is nothing but a Dump !
Ownership must have given up on this place because it has turned into a filthy dive.
Head over to Bell Blvd in Bayside and take your choice of much better places than this dump.

Arrogant Neighborhood Bar

This place used to be good until the new co-owner Marty the Idiot took over.
He could care less for the local customers who have been coming there for years spending their good money.
Why Rick ever chose Marty the Idiot as his partner, we can only wonder.
Good things never stay good for long.
Thanks for destroying a good place Marty, you Arrogant SOB !

I MISS ALL MY FRIENDS AT FILLMORE'S

Fillmore's has been my favorite restaurnt in Flushing for years. The staff, food and atmosphere are exceptional. The menu has a nice variety and the prices are resonable. Although I have moved to warmer climate (Florida); I hope to visit whenever I'm back in the area. Willie Heavey

Best wings in a 10 mile radius

I think some of the reviewers here must have something personally against the owners to have such hateful comments. Personally I have been going to this restaurant only for the past two years and think its wonderful. The staff is always friendly and the food is pretty good.

My favorites are the wings which are amazing, the baked clam, popcorn shrimp... ok basically all of the appetizers. I also love the Penne alla Teddy with Chicken, its absolutely delicious. Ofcourse like all neighborhood joints, there are some ups and downs in the consistency of the dishes, but the Sunday brunch is terrific. Its basically hot pans full of eggs, potatos, bacon and sausage. You also get a seperate platter with different kind of breakfast breads like mini waffles (my favorite) and english muffins. The breakfast also comes with a traditional mimosa which is a great treat for us ladies.

We ususally do mothers and fathers days here for the family. Overall, great place for food, and great prices.

The steaks have attitude the waitresses don't!

This is the last of the corner restaurants in Queens where real New Yorkers eat and enjoy a good time. The staff and servers are friendly and helpful. The place has been there for over thirty years. They must be doing something right. Fillmore's specialty is a sizziling 'Blackened Steak'. It is a must try if you are going for the first time. Their wings are better than any other place in Queens or the city.

The bar has fun things going on all the time. They have an event calender posted online and at all the tables. It is a fun place hiddden on a side street. Like an oldtime 'Speakeasy'! Ask for Rick

Best Ever Wings

Had a great plate of wings. Not too hot or spicey. The waitresses were great and atmosphere cozy and comfortable. I felt safe in this neighborhood bar restaurant. A lot of regulars but my freinds and I were welcome and made to feel like family.

Another table told us the Blackened Steak is the best in NY. It has been on the menu for 25 years. The tavern has been there since 1977. They must be doing something right.

Super Wings & Best Blackened Steaks

For my money the best value in Queens is Fillmore's. Super staff and great Buffalo Wings. Puts H**ters to shame. Try the Blackened Steak it is the best beef dish in NY! The tavern is an original speak easy from the 1929's. You have to use the back door. You walk in to a welcoming bar area. The cozy dining room is in the rear. Ask for Natalie or Shannon they are super waitresses. The owners Maria & Rick are top shelf.
