Charges $5.00 for ALL laundered items except men's dress shirts
WARNING ABOUT THE PRICING AT ESQUIRE CLEANERS! Start checking those receipts. Even if your item say "Machine Washable" unless it's a men's dress shirt, and ONLY a men's dress shirt, you will be charged the same price as dry cleaning the item - $5.00. The launder price ONLY applies to men's dress shirts. If it's a women's 100% cotton long sleeve blouse, and it looks identical to a man's dress shirt except the buttons are on the other side, you will be charged $5.00. If the item says machine wash, they will launder it and then charge you $5.00 (they say it's because they "hand press" all items except men's dress shirts which go in the machine). Even if you specifically ask that the item be laundered, they will not do it "to protect your item". I accidentally put a white 100% cotton machine washable Gap T-shirt in my cleaning and was shocked to get it back and be charged $5.00 because it was laundered and "hand pressed". I think this is how Esquire makes their money. They use the cheap men's shirt launder price as their loss leader and then overcharge for all the other items.
