bay 101
one of the best casinos in san jose, here they offer food and a lot of the games that you would find at a casino. the food is good, and a bit expensive. this place is clean, but smells a lot because of the smoke and lack of ventilation. they have staff that are helpful and very friendly. if you want to gamble, and don't vant to drive all the way to vegas or reno, this is the place for you

This card room is very nice, but I feel like they are rigged, always giving me bad cards. They have the shuffling machines, which I do not trust at all. I would rather have a dealer shuffle in front of me than a machine. The chips are not very heavy or thick either. They are flimsy and they stick to each other. I do not like this place much.

Bay 101
This is a pretty nice casino . They have a water fountain with dolphin sculptures in front. The inside is pretty nice as well with high ceilings. Its also well lit. They have 2 casino floors with tables games like 7 Card-Stud, Omaha Holdem. They also allow you to sit behind players so you can watch.

Big
Yep its the biggest casino around in San Jose, you can see it from Hwy101. Looks really neat at night with all the lights. They had a World Poker Event here in spring of 2005, I think someone from San Jose won! All the usual games, lots of poker tables of course. Easy to find and get to, nothing bad about it really. Tons of parking and easy access, Im going back for sure.

Corruption and Exploitation at Bay101
Bay101 is the epitome of Vietnam, China, and the Philippines, where corruption exists from the bottom up. I don't see why there are waiting lists if people can just bribe the floor man, floor woman, or the announcer to get a seat. If one is caught collecting a bribe, he or she wouldl come up an explanation so lame that you wondered if he or she was ever educated.

Disgrace
As a customer a few years ago, I used to have lunch at Bay 101 several years ago until the San Jose Police have made this place their second home. There's always something bad happening at this place not to mention the smuggling of prostitution and drug dealing that takes place there. The place is always unkempt and the smell is hideous.Worldwide > United States > San Jose, CA > Gambling and Betting
