Always a client favorite, Steve has a friendly, outgoing, and understanding manner. But he is also an aggressive courtroom advocate with a driving desire to win. For over 20 years, Steve has been in the courtroom fighting for his clients. His first experience as a trial attorney was in the United States Marine Corps. He served as a prosecutor and defense attorney handling hundreds of cases at courts-martial. Only two years out of law school, Steve served as a defense attorney for a capital murder case. His selection for that case that early in his career indicated the high regard the Marine Corps had for his trial skills. Steve left active duty in 1995 and continued as a reserve officer until his retirement in 2003 as a Lieutenant Colonel, United States Marine Corps Reserve.
