Wei Quan How, MD

Wei Quan How, MD, is a physician specializing in general surgery. Dr. How earned his medical degree from Perdana University Graduate School of Medicine. He then completed his internship and residency with Easton Hospital and St. Luke's University Health Network. Dr. How sees patients ages 18 and above for gall bladder surgery, appendix surgery, hernias, colon surgery, soft tissues masses, and treatment of abscesses. He also performs screening colonoscopies and upper endoscopies, small bowel surgery, breast and thyroid/parathyroid surgeries, and anti-reflux procedures. Dr. How chose to specialize in general surgery as it allows him to utilize his expertise hands-on. He spends time speaking with and listening to each of his patients so they understand the disease as well as their treatment options. Originally from Malaysia, Dr. How came to the United States for his undergraduate education and subsequent residency in Pennsylvania. He enjoys watching movies, anime, hiking, running, going to the beach, and all types of sports.
