Professionally, I enjoy roles that provide me the opportunity to work with others towards their goals and improved quality of life. In addition, I have long held an interest in health and medicine, especially sports medicine, in part inspired by my upbringing playing sports and my continued enjoyment of running in my time off. Working as a physician assistant in orthopedics has allowed me to combine my interest in medicine with my passion for helping others. Orthopedic issues can have a significant impact on quality of life and I find it rewarding helping patients on their journey towards recovery. My philosophy of care is to prioritize listening first, hearing from patients about their goals and any concerns that they may have about their health. I believe that this approach allows me to perform my best in my role working with patients to address those concerns and to help patients assess, adjust, and work towards their health goals. When I am not at work, I enjoy spending time with my wife and our cat, especially cooking and sharing meals with friends and family. In my free time I also enjoy running and playing guitar.
