Her journey began at Guangzhou University of Traditional Chinese Medicine, one of China's premier institutions for acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM). After earning her degree, she honed her skills through medical training and a hospital residency.

For a decade, she practiced as a TCM physician, specializing in gynecology and infertility. Upon relocating to the United States in 2002, she expanded her knowledge within the pharmacy field and obtained her certification in oriental medicine. Eventually, she became a licensed acupuncturist, culminating in the creation of Jan Acupuncture, where she provides unwavering care for each and every patient who enters her practice.
