Christopher Barrios, MD

Dr Christopher Barrios treats adults with lung disorders, including cystic fibrosis, non-cystic fibrosis bronchiectasis, nontuberculous mycobacteria, and severe asthma. He also sees hospitalized patients, including those in the intensive care unit.
His research interests include therapies for non-tuberculous mycobacteria in cystic fibrosis patients, cystic fibrosis-asthma overlap syndrome, and clinical trials for cystic fibrosis patients.
Dr Barrios is an associate professor in the Department of Internal Medicine, Division of Pulmonary, Critical Care and Sleep Medicine, at Saint Louis University School of Medicine.
He holds memberships in the American Thoracic Society and the American College of Chest Physicians.
