Bena Teo, MD

Dr. Teo has a passion for science and enjoys working with people. She believes in the power of primary care to unify and improve health for her patients and serves as a navigator for all aspects of their health care.Her patient-centric approach is accomplished by listening to her patients, understanding their health goals, providing accurate information, and helping to guide them to make healthy decisions. According to Dr. Teo, I enjoy treating patients of all ages and in all types of situations. I aim to develop relationships with them so we can work together as a team.Originally from New Jersey, she graduated from the University of Illinois College of Medicine, and came West to complete her family practice residency at the University of California, Los Angeles.A wife and mom of two boys, Dr. Teo is a self-declared foodie and also enjoys reading fiction, listening to NPR, and traveling in her time away from the office.
