David Russell, MD

Dr. Russell’s inspiration for becoming a physician is grounded in his three-part mantra, find something you love, learn from it and enjoy what you do. He applies this philosophy every day to his role as a family medicine physician, where he cares for patients aged five and above.

In his practice, Dr. Russell enjoys making connections with his patients and serving as a guide throughout their health care journey. As a family medicine physician, he is provided the unique opportunity to care for children through seniors and appreciates the diversity of his practice. He also welcomes a challenge and loves the opportunity to learn about new treatments, new technical advancements and new medications.

His goal is to work collaboratively with his patients and watch them grow through all stages of life. As he states, “I put myself in my patient’s shoes to understand their point of view. I appreciate the trust they have in me, and it is a privilege to be involved in their life.

Dr. Russell received his medical degree from Saint Louis University School of Medicine and completed his residency at HCA Healthcare Riverside – Family Medicine Residency Program.

Outside of work, Dr. Russell enjoys hiking, rock climbing and playing video games.
