Vance Cao, MD

An Orange County native, Dr. Cao had the fortunate experience of serving as a medical assistant while in high school. This was a turning point for him as he was immediately drawn to medicine and knew that he wanted to pursue a career where he could treat diseases and medical conditions.

With more than nine years of experience as a board-certified Internist, Dr. Cao enjoys his daily interaction with patients. As he states it best, “I appreciate the opportunity to treat real life diseases and help my patients. It is important for me to provide care for my patients but also to empower them to take charge of their own medical conditions.”

A true believer in a team-based approach, Dr. Cao partners with his patients in all aspects of their health care. He focuses on providing the best outcomes and serving as a resource for his patients, all with the overall goal of improving the health of each and every patient.

Dr. Cao completed medical school at Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science in Chicago, IL and attended University of California San Francisco for his residency.

When he is away from the office, Dr. Cao enjoys spending time with his family and young children, photography, and building computers.
