Anisha Jivraj, MD

Dr. Jivraj was destined to be a doctor due to her strong interest in medicine coupled with her desire to help people in her community. It is the fact that she is able to make a positive impact in her patients’ lives that drives her to provide the best health care available as a primary care physician.

In the field of internal medicine, Dr. Jivraj is well versed on all medical organ systems which she believes is the foundation of medicine. She takes the time to learn about each patient and their individual culture and beliefs which allows her to provide personalized care. She also views her role as a problem solver and the one that “connects the dots” which is a responsibility she does not take lightly.

Dr. Jivraj provides a collaborative environment that is non-judgmental, nurturing and supportive. She wants to be relatable to her patients and provide them a safe place to come and share their needs and concerns. As she states, “I focus on empowering my patients. It is through shared decision making that we can make a difference. I love to see my patients thrive.”

Dr. Jivraj attended medical school at Ross University School of Medicine and completed her internal medicine residency at St. Mary’s Medical Center in San Francisco, California.

When she is not working, Dr. Jivraj enjoys spending time with her dog at local parks and beaches, cooking and traveling.
