Bailey W Young, DO

Bailey W. Young, M.D., is an orthopedic surgeon with Norton Children’s Orthopedics of Louisville, affiliated with the UofL School of Medicine. Dr. Young earned her medical degree from the University of North Texas Health Science Center, Fort Worth. She completed her residency in orthopedic surgery at Inspira Medical Center Vineland, New Jersey, and a pediatric orthopedic surgery fellowship at Orthopaedic Hospital.
Her focus on pediatric orthopedics aligns with a philosophy of involving patients and caregivers as vital members of the care team. She ensures understanding and collaboration, giving patients and families a voice in treatment options. Dr. Young is committed to helping each child reach their full potential. She fosters open dialogue among care providers, patients and families to create collaborative care plans.
Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with family and staying active outdoors.
