Dr. Clutter is a life-long Hoosier. He attended Nora Grade School, North Central High School, Indiana University-Bloomington, Indiana University School of Medicine (1974) and completed his residency at Methodist Hospital, where he was born. He has been in practice in Castleton for more than 30 years.
Although his practice encompasses the entire spectrum of family practice, today it focuses more on chronic disease management and health maintenance/prevention, including colonoscopy.
Dr. Clutter has been active in numerous professional organizations, including a post as the past president of the Indiana Academy of Family Physicians. He is currently an associate professor of family medicine at the Indiana University School of Medicine and teaches third-year medical students.
In his free time, Dr. Clutter enjoys singing in his church choir, theater and playing golf. He is married with three grown daughters.
