Tom Edmonds, MD

Dr. Tom Edmonds is a Board Certified Cataract and Refractive Surgeon. He is one of only six Virginia eye surgeons to be Board Certified in LASIK Surgery by the Board of Eye Surgeons. He was the first surgeon in the area to perform a custom Lasik procedure. Over the years, Dr. Edmonds has also earned a reputation as one of the area’s finest and most innovative cataract surgeons. He performed the area’s first “no-needle, no-stitch” cataract procedure and was the first to implant both the ReStor® Multifocal IOL and the Symfony® EDOF IOL after cataract surgery. Having performed over 20,000 cataract and refractive procedures, he is one of the most experienced surgeons in Virginia.
