Jasmine Barboza

Jasmine Barboza, LCSW has an area of expertise in Behavioral Health providing psychotherapy to patients with mental health disorders. With a passion for helping others, primarily women and those in the Hispanic/Latinx community, Ms. Barboza has worked in an outpatient setting treating children, adolescents, adults and families. At Summit Health her primary patient population will be adults, utilizing Cognitive Behavioral Therapy in session work.

Specifically, Ms. Barboza often works with patients who suffer from anxiety, depression, adjustment to life circumstances, stress, anger and self-esteem/body image issues. “My philosophy is providing a supportive environment for patients while teaching them the skills to manage their mental health”, said the therapist. What’s most important to Ms. Barboza during a patient visit is that patients are heard and understood in their needs for treatment.

When not working as a therapist, Ms. Barboza enjoys spending time with family and friends and traveling.
