Julia Cron, M.D., FACOG

Dr. Julia Cron is Vice Chair of Obstetrics and Gynecology and Assistant Clinical Professor at Weill Cornell Medicine/New York Presbyterian, and Site Chief of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Lower Manhattan Hospital. Prior to joining Weill Cornell Medicine/New York Presbyterian, Dr. Cron was the Residency Program Director for the Obstetrics and Gynecology Residency Program at Yale New Haven Hospital and Assistant Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Yale School of Medicine. Dr. Cron graduated from Hamilton College and the University of Connecticut School of Medicine, and completed her residency training in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the Johns Hopkins Hospital.Dr. Cron is a specialist in general Obstetrics and Gynecology and provides the full-spectrum of reproductive health care to all women. In addition, she has a focused practice designation in Pediatric and Adolescent Gynecology from the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology, and is particularly interested in caring for girls and young women. She has been involved in medical education and women's health advocacy throughout her career. Currently she serves on the Exam Committee for the Council on Resident Education in Obstetrics and Gynecology and is a board examiner for the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology, and most recently served as the District I (New England) Junior Fellow Advisor for the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists.
