Cheung Wong, MD, Gynecologic Oncologist

Dr. Wong is the director of Gynecologic Oncology at The University of Vermont Medical Center. He manages all forms of gynecologic cancers (ovarian, uterine, cervical, and vulva), pre-invasive gynecologic cancers, and complicated gynecology, such as severe endometriosis. 

He specializes in surgical treatments for gynecologic cancers, such as minimally-invasive surgery and robotic-assisted surgery. He also performs abdominal, laparoscopic or robotic hysterectomies, removal of ovaries, vulvectomies, and removal of lymph nodes. 

Dr. Wong believes that every patient should be treated like family. He is the recipient of 16 teaching awards since 2000.
