I see myself as a partner with my patients. Ultimately, they are the experts of their health. I want to help them achieve their goals, but I view my role not as someone who tells them what to do to be healthy, but to work with them—to help them obtain knowledge, understand various choices, and then to help them along their journey with their healthcare. I believe I see and treat the patient as a whole, taking into account their body, mind, spirit, life experiences, and current circumstances.
