I approach patient care as just one part of a larger team, with the patient being an integral member of the team as well. I believe patient outcomes are best when care is co-led by the patient and the primary care provider and that every other member of the team (MAs, RNs, allied health professionals, etc) is just as important. My job is to support patients in making the best decisions for their health by providing them with education, empowerment and resources to help them reach their goals.
