Amy J. Engebretson, MD, FACOG

Amy J. Engebretson, MD, FACOG, is an OB/GYN at Adefris & Toppin Women’s Specialists, MD, PC, in Woodbury, MN. She is dedicated to exceeding patient expectations by providing exceptional and compassionate health services for women at all stages of their life, from adolescence through maturity. In addition to routine healthcare such as well-woman gynecology exams, she commonly provides family planning services, including birth control, infertility treatment, and comprehensive obstetric care for pregnancies. Dr. Engebretson offers gynecologic surgical procedures when needed, including colposcopy, hysterectomy, and hysteroscopy.

A lifelong resident of Minnesota, Dr. Engebretson traveled to Illinois to earn her undergraduate degree at Northwestern University in Chicago before returning to Minnesota for medical school and an obstetrics and gynecology residency. Dr. Engebretson completed both her doctorate degree and residency at the University of Minnesota on the Twin Cities Campus in Minneapolis.

Dr. Engebretson currently lives in St. Paul with her daughter.
