Lauren A. Callahan, MD, FACOG

Combining expert training with a joy for caring for women from all ages and walks of life, OB/GYN physician and surgeon Lauren A. Callahan, MD, FACOG, has quickly established herself as a valued physician at Adefris & Toppin Women’s Specialists, M.D.P.C., in Woodbury, Minnesota.

Dr. Callahan grew up in Madison, Wisconsin, before moving on to Bowdoin College in Brunswick, Maine, for her undergraduate studies. After spending a year in Washington, DC, conducting clinical research, Dr. Callahan decided to continue her education, completing medical school at the Medical College of Wisconsin in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Following medical school, Dr. Callahan went to Indiana University in Indianapolis, Indiana, for her OB/GYN residency.

Dr. Callahan has been recognized as a Rising Star by the Minneapolis/St. Paul Magazine, as well as earning a spot on the Top Doctors list for 2017, 2018, and 2019. Dr. Callahan is also a member of the HealthEast Perinatal Safety Committee.
