My original career focus was driven towards scientific research that benefitted medicine. However, I felt my qualities were better utilized with serving the public and becoming a Physician Assistant. My goal is to build a trusting and collaborative relationship with my patients. I want my patients to feel as vested in their health as I do. When you have a cohesive relationship with your patients, medical decision-making is much easier. My interest is in primary care, which encompasses a little of everything. You never know what you are going to get when you come to work. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my husband and son, traveling and experiencing new cultures and cuisine, and staying healthy with exercising.
