Three years in the planning, we wanted to create a quick service restaurant using the healthy foods people used to eat when living rurally, made with fresh produce, free-running chickens/cows and organic products. That philosophy extends into the physical design of Pick and Eat, by using energy saving LED lighting and re-claimed wood that has a lower impact on the environment. We have spared no cost in minimizing our carbon footprint. We look forward to becoming part of the Washington Heights community and participating in its revitalization.
