Laura Grimmer, MD

Laura Grimmer, MD, is a board certified general surgeon. She graduated from Warren Alpert Medical School at Brown University and completed her residency at Rush University through the John H. Stroger Jr. Hospital of Cook County Integrated Program in Chicago, IL.

After her fellowship, Dr. Grimmer completed a minimally invasive fellowship at Washington University before joining SSM Health.

Dr. Grimmer practices general surgery for patients 18 years of age and older and has clinical interests in minimally invasive surgery, advanced laparoscopic/robotic surgery, foregut diseases and hernias. Dr. Grimmer offers a wide range of surgical treatments for heartburn and reflux disease, including the LINX procedure. She is a member of the American College of Surgeons and the Association of Academic Surgery.
