Mary Lowdermilk, MD

Mary Catherine Lowdermilk, MD, is fellowship trained in body imaging and completed her fellowship at the University of Tennessee. Prior to that, she attended medical school at Saint Louis University School of Medicine and completed her diagnostic radiology residency at the University of Tennessee.

Practicing since 1998, Dr. Lowdermilk, a board-certified breast radiologist has special interests in ultrasound, 2D and 3D stereotactic and MRI-guided breast biopsy, Magseed placement and breast cyst aspiration. Dr. Lowdermilk makes personalized care a top priority. For patients receiving diagnostic imaging, an explanation of imaging results and recommendations will occur before the patient leaves the breast center.

Prior to starting at her current practices, Dr. Lowdermilk was an assistant professor in the Department of Radiology at Saint Louis University School of Medicine and the medical director of breast imaging at SSM Health St. Mary’s Hospital – St. Louis.

She is a member of the American College of Radiology, Missouri Radiological Society, Society of Breast Imaging and American Association of Women Radiologists.
