Cheryl Herman, MD

Cheryl Herman, MD, FACR, is fellowship trained in breast imaging and completed her fellowship at the University of Virginia. Prior to that, she attended medical school at Meharry Medical College in Nashville and completed her diagnostic radiology residency at Medical College of Ohio.

Practicing since 1997 as a board-certified radiologist, Dr. Herman has special interests in ultrasound, 2D and 3D stereotactic and MRI-guided breast biopsy, mammography and needle localizations of breast lesions. Dr. Herman makes patient comfort her highest priority by providing a space where they can ask questions and express emotions without judgment.

Prior to starting with SSM Health, Dr. Herman was an associate professor in the Department of Breast Imaging for Mallinckrodt Institute of Radiology at Washington University School of Medicine. She is a fellow of the American College of Radiology and a member of the American College of Radiology and Society of Breast Imaging.
