Annette Morales-Tymczak

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC-S) at Foresight Houston. I received my Masters degree in Psychology with clinical emphasis at Texas A&M at Corpus Christi. My education included additional graduate counseling courses plus additional doctoral work in clinical psychology at Texas AI&M University. I have experience working in a variety of mental health settings in Texas and New Mexico. Most recent experience includes working in Houston Community Based Outpatient Clinic settings, including Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHC). I am passionate about engaging my skills to assist others in developing and utilizing needed coping skills to manage difficult times and flourish through life transitions. Specialty areas include depression, anxiety, coping skills, and stress management. I approach therapy from a client centered and trauma informed perspective. I assist you in recognizing your strengths and help create opportunities for personal growth. I have experience working with children, teens, adults, and older adults, utilizing interventions from cognitive behavioral therapy, strength-based approaches, and mindfulness practices. I am also a fluent Spanish speaker and can provide services in Spanish if this is your preference.
