Jennifer Garibay

I am a Board Certified (NCC) Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) at Foresight San Antonio, Texas. I graduated from The University of Texas at San Antonio in 2018 with my Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. Over the years, I have acquired many tools to assist my clients in addressing the challenges associated with mild to extensive trauma, anxiety, adjustment, depression, grief/loss, and attachment issues. My passion is to walk alongside my clients through difficult life transitions and to build their inner strengths to create the life they desire through empathy, self-compassion and authenticity. I approach therapy from a strength-based, trauma-informed holistic approach to meet each individual clients' unique needs. I like to incorporate different treatment modalities from Narrative Therapy, Art/Music Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral (CBT), Short-Term Solution Focused and Mindfulness Interventions. My ultimate goal is to help my clients to feel safe and find their way of leading productive and fulfilling lives.
