Dr. Gettler provides services for skin conditions including full-body skin examinations for skin cancer identification, treatment of skin cancer, removal of skin growths including warts, molluscum, and skin tags, and the treatment of common and rare skin conditions, including psoriasis, atopic dermatitis (eczema), acne, rosacea, alopecia (hair loss) including scarring forms of alopecia, and botulinum toxin (Botox) for hyperhidrosis (increased underarm sweating).
Dr. Gettler also offers complimentary cosmetic services including Xeomin injections for facial wrinkles, sclerotherapy for removal of leg veins, and acid peels for the treatment of wrinkles, sun damage, melasma, acne scarring, and other uses.
A Connecticut native, Dr. Gettler graduated from Joel Barlow High School in Redding before earning his Bachelor of Arts at the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia.
He returned to his home state for medical school, earning his Doctor of Medicine at the University of Connecticut School of Medicine in Farmington. Dr. Gettler completed his dermatology residency at New York Medical College in Valhalla, New York.
Dr. Gettler opened Advanced Medical and Cosmetic Dermatology in 2006 to provide dermatology services to the greater Stamford community, including Greenwich, Darien, New Canaan, and beyond.
Dr. Gettler resides in Wilton, Connecticut, with his wife and three children.
