I went into the healthcare field almost 20 years ago because of my passion for taking care of people and my interest in the human body. Working as a Nurse Practitioner has allowed me to provide medical care to the community, which is very fulfilling. I enjoy educating and advocating for my patients. I believe that it is important to be an exceptional listener, while allowing patients to have a voice and be engaged in their own healthcare. I have a strong interest in preventive care and chronic disease management, with the ultimate goal being the most favorable outcomes. When I am not at work, I enjoy working in my yard, gardening and spending time with my family.
