Dr. Witherspoon, board certified through the American Board of Surgery (ABS) and a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons (FACS), specializes in breast surgery. Dr. Witherspoon joined University Surgical Associates in 1997. Dr. Witherspoon has office hours at USA's Gunbarrel Road Office at Erlanger East on Tuesdays (8 – 11:30 am and 1– 4 pm), Wednesday (9:30 am – noon), and 1st and 3rd Fridays (1 – 4 pm). Dr. Witherspoon performs surgery at Erlanger Hospital, Plaza Surgery Center at Erlanger, CHI Memorial Hospital, Parkridge Hospital, and Erlanger East Hospital. Dr. Witherspoon is an associate professor in surgery, Department of Surgery, for the University of Tennessee College of Medicine, Chattanooga.
