Dr. Shauna Lorenzo

Dr. Lorenzo, board certified through the American Board of Surgery (ABS) and American Board of Colorectal Surgery (ABCRS), specializes in general and colon and rectal surgery. Dr. Lorenzo joined University Surgical Associates in 2008. Dr. Lorenzo sees patients at USA Surgical Specialties Building in Chattanooga. Dr. Lorenzo is an associate professor of surgery, Department of Surgery, for the University of Tennessee College of Medicine, Chattanooga, a fellow of the American College of Surgeons (FACS) and American Society of Colon & Rectal Surgeons (FASCRS). She founded the Greater Chattanooga Colon Cancer Foundation (GCCCF.org) to educate Chattanoogans on the importance of colon cancer screening and raise funds for those who cannot afford it through the Rump Run (rumprun.com). Dr. Lorenzo served as president of the Hamilton County Medical Society in 2017.
