Anjali Chand, MD is a member of Summit Health's Family Medicine team. Dr. Chand provides primary care to adolescent and adult patients, drawing from family medicine practice experience with patients of all ages.
Dr. Chand has experience in women’s health, including providing pap smears and contraceptive counseling, and she has an interest in integrative medicine. Her experience also includes global health outreach in Ghana, where she helped implement a women’s health program, and in Dominica, where she directed pediatric health fairs that served more than 500 children.
With an emphasis on preventive medicine and encouraging healthy lifestyles, Dr. Chand takes pride in getting to know her patients and their families, understanding and responding to their needs, and celebrating their milestones along the way. Forming trusting, long-lasting relationships is what she enjoys most. “I pursued a career in health care because I didn’t just want to be a doctor; I wanted to be somebody’s doctor,” she said.
In her free time, Dr. Chand enjoys cooking, traveling, and learning how to ski.
