John Bernabei, Robertson Stephens

John Bernabei is a Principal and Managing Director at Robertson Stephens and located in San Francisco. Together with Zack Perry, John advises high net worth individuals on a wide range of wealth management solutions ranging from financial planning, asset allocation strategies, philanthropic strategies and investment opportunities.Prior to joining Robertson Stephens, John was a founding partner of Vine Street Wealth Management, LLC, a registered investment advisory firm in Mill Valley, California. Vine Street managed separate accounts for families and institutions. In May 2017, John was also a founding partner of Seaplane Partners, LLC a money management firm focused on concentrated value investing.Prior to Vine Street and Seaplane, John had a successful 22 year institutional equity sales career advising institutional clients on US and Asian equities and managing the offices at several wall street firms. Prior to joining wall street, he was a sales engineer & account manager for several large industrial companies.
John received his Mechanical Engineering degree from Michigan State University and his MBA in Finance from the University of Southern California’s Marshall School of Business.
