Lindsay Tart, FNP

I began working as a rehabilitation technician for children with special needs after completing my bachelors degree. I thoroughly enjoyed working with these children and also the impact they had on me, which led me to then pursue a career in nursing. I worked as a staff nurse in several busy hospitals and began to realize that building rapport with my patients was one thing that fascinated me most about the nursing profession. Building rapport establishes trust and aides in the healing process. I furthered my nursing career by becoming a family nurse practitioner. In this role, I can build rapport with my patients but can also assist in helping to treat and manage a variety of medical diseases and conditions. Outside of work, I like to go to the beach, spend time with my husband and daughter, and travel.
