I always enjoyed biology in school and knew I would do something that involved interacting with people. I derive great satisfaction from helping people, so the combination made me a perfect fit for the medical profession. I believe communication is essential to being a good physician. I want my patients to feel like I spoke to them in the same manner in which they were speaking to a friend or family member and that they felt they understood me and were able to have a conversation with me on their terms. Outside of work, I enjoy biking, golfing and eating at various restaurants. I especially enjoy laughing.
