The word doctor means teacher. Good teachers are constant learners. I want to be a professional learner! Mostly, Im an advisor. For wellness, I aim to educate from a variety of sources, much of it gleaned from other parents. For sick children, my job is to make a definitive diagnosis if I can, but at least to present a manageable range of possibilities and the options for treatment. And Id like to make sick children as comfortable in their brief time with me as I can. When I am not working, I write childrens fiction and enjoy archery, running and martial arts.
