Ellen Byars, WHNP-BC

I am a womens health clinician who specializes in gynecology (GYN) oncology, survivorship care and lower genital tract dysplasia. I began my nursing career caring for women in the postpartum period and have been hooked on taking care of women and their families ever since. My passion for womens health eventually led me to pursue my advanced practice degree as a Womens Health Nurse Practitioner. In my practice, I care for women with GYN cancer, lower genital tract dysplasia and benign GYN related problems. I believe it is a privilege to support and empower women during some of the most difficult and challenging times in their lives. I strive to create a trusting collaborative relationship with women and their families. I look for opportunities to promote not only the physical health of my patients but also their mental health and emotional wellbeing. When Im not working, I enjoy doing yoga, Orange Theory workouts and spending time being present with friends and family (1 husband, 2 kids and a gerbil).
