Samer Thanavaro, MD

Dr. Thanavaro is board certified in cardiology and a Fellow in the American College of Cardiology. He earned his medical degree from Mahidol University in Bangkok, Thailand. Dr. Thanavaro completed his residency at Albert Einstein Medical Center in Philadelphia. He served his fellowship at Washington University – Jewish Hospital in St. Louis.

Dr. Thanavaro’s medical interests include: performing diagnostic cardiac catheterization; performance and interpretation of transthoracic and transesophageal echocardiography; implantation of cardiac pacemakers; interpretation of cardiac nuclear scan; coronary angiography; coronary angioplasty; coronary stenting; right and left heart catheterization; rotablator procedures; and routine medical procedures.
